The Studio Look is for the customer who is seeking a flawless natural makeup application. This look is very popular with clients who don’t wear makeup often or who just one a single application of makeup such as the eyes only or face only. A 15% service fee will be added to the final price for all services.
The Loft Look is our most popular makeup application. It is perfect for a night out on the town and offers the glam of the Penthouse Look combined with the natural application of the Studio Look. A 15% service fee will be added to the final price for all services.
The Penthouse Look is for customers looking for a Photo Ready application. It is perfect for photo shoots or red carpet events. We also recommend this look for brides and bridesmaids. A 15% service fee will be added to the final price for all services.

All services include 15% service fee on the final price to book our artists. All appointments must be paid in full to book the appointment. If you cancel your appointment at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time then you will be refunded the full amount of your payment. If you do not cancel within the allotted cancellation period you will not be issued a refund but you will receive a credit towards your next service. Full refunds are only issued outside of the 48 hour cancellation window if the makeup artist has a conflict and cannot service you. We have this policy because we offer an on-location makeup artistry service that has to be strategically planned several days in advance to meet our clients needs and to arrive at their locations on time. Last minute cancellations are a huge inconvenience to our artist’s schedules. We will be happy to honor any appointments cancelled prior to the 48 hour allotted time. Outside of this a credit will stay on your account up to six months after your original appointment date. Credits are not applied automatically and customers will have to call or email to receive the credit during their next requested appointment time. This cancellation policy is valid for any appointments booked and not cancelled during the 48 hour time period. This is also valid for multiple appointments. For example: If you book an appointment for three people and one person does not show up or changes their mind, they will not be refunded. They will also receive a credit towards their next makeup service that will be valid for six months from the original appointment date. Also, if you choose to downgrade your services from the services you originally booked outside of the 48 hour cancellation window you will be charged for the service that you originally booked. We do not offer refunds for changes is services due to the customer having a change of mind. We have to schedule every appointment based on the allotted service and if you do not cancel prior to 48 hours our makeup artist could lose potential clients. Any service upgrades at the time of service can either be booked online or by calling City Makeup Loft.
Makeup artists can only do last minute on-site appointments if the time is available on the booking calendar. Makeup artist do not book or schedule appointments. The client will have to do this online or by calling CML customer service and the appointment will only be scheduled if the makeup artist has time available on their calendar. For example: If you get your makeup done and you decide that you would like your friend to have their makeup done, your friend or you will have to book this appointment online at the time of service and pay for the service first prior to the appointment taking place. If the system does not allow you to book based on the makeup artist’s schedule you will not be able to schedule the appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience but our makeup artists are independent contractors and have no control over booking or scheduling. City Makeup Loft holds no liability of refunds or dissatisfaction with makeup artistry services performed. Please address all dissatisfaction with the makeup artist prior to completing your appointments as we do not offer any refunds for services. City Makeup Loft also holds no liability regarding any allergies or medical concerns that may take place a result of the products used. By purchasing our services you agree to indemnify City Makeup Loft of any liability as a result of dissatisfaction regarding the Makeup Artist’s services. The Makeup Artist, who is an Independent Contractor, holds the complete liability of any dissatisfaction and by agreeing to these terms, you agree to hold the Makeup Artist (The Independent Contractor) liable for all claims.
The only payments that the makeup artist can take on-site are that of a travel fee, parking fee and tips. The Makeup Artist is able to charge you an additional parking charge for locations that have limited parking. The artist’s parking fee max is up to $10 on top of your total service charge. This will be charged during checkout. You will be informed of this charge by the makeup artist. For locations outside of Chicago there may be an additional $15 travel fee for 20 miles outside of the city or a $25 charge for 40-60 miles outside of the city. Appointments over 15 minutes late will be subject to cancellation at the discretion of the artist. Above prices do not include gratuity.
Payment Forms: All appointments must be booked online and we only use the following payment methods.
Tips for the Makeup Artist: The makeup artist does not carry cash or deal with payments. However you are allowed to tip the makeup artist in cash or charge based on the payment system they have on-site. You can also pay their parking or travel fees using these methods.
